CNA & CBRF Combination Course

This program is a combination of our DHS approved CNA program and CBRF program. This course is designed to provide the students with certifications to be able to work in hospitals, nursing homes, home care and community based residential facilities. The CNA portion includes 59 hours of lecture and lab as well as 16 hours of clinical. When the student finishes this portion of the program they will be able to take the Wisconsin nurse aide exam. The CBRF portion includes 31 hours of lecture and lab to prepare the student to work in a CBRF setting. Areas of lecture and lab include Fire Safety, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, First Aid & Choking, Resident Rights, Client Group, Challenging Behaviors and Task Specific Training, Students are added to the CBRF Employee Registry and can then work in this setting as well. $150.00 State exam, $80.00 CBRF registry fees. $80.00 TB and $20.00 background check.
